No insurance needed: No. Insurance is not involved in HealthTap PRIME or HealthTap CONCIERGE (as of 2018) although some commercial insurance policies may have begun covering online consultations, because as more and more doctors use new technology to care for patients. It's possible that a person's Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account will reimburse for online consultations costs.
