Centrum semiovale: is white matter of the brain. It is found underneath the grey matter on the surface of the cerebrum. It is synonymous with cerebral white matter. White matter is thought to largely have a communicating and coordinating function. It is composed largely of myelin...fat/lipid laden tissue. It affects how the brain learns and functions, acting as a relay and coordinating communication.

Many things: These types of white matter changes are COMMONLY seen in otherwise perfectly healthy individuals who undergo MR scans for headaches &amp; a variety of other symptoms.  Frequently, no cause is determined.  These findings might be consistent with Lyme disease, prior head trauma or concussion, prior brain infection or inflammation and vasculitis, amongst others.

Small stroke: "ischemic infarct centrum semiovale" means a (usually small) stroke high up in the brain that is caused by decreased blood flow (ischemia) to the area.  It is more likely that the stroke led to the fall rather than the stroke occurring as a result of the fall.

Damage seen on MRI or ct ordered by doctor, yes?  What does (s)he say & why aren't you satisfied with answer (since you're posting here)?

White matter stuff. : White matter abnormalities as you have described can be seen in various conditions such as vascular disease, vascular dementia, multiple sclerosis, Lyme disease and migraine headache. And of themselves, these do not diagnose somebody with Alzheimer’s disease. However, they may require further investigation into their specific cause.

Lesisn: Common finding. Micronangiopathic changes are essentially capillaries that have closed off. As people age this happens. People that  have vasculitis, such a lupu, will get these changes earlier in life and more abundantly.

: This is a not-infrequent question here at HT.  You describe a nonspecific and nondiagnostic MRI interpretation that can be caused by aging (microvascular angiopathy), smoking, migraine, prior head injuries, recreational drugs, etc.  The images need clinical correlation with your symptoms.  Discuss the findings with your physicians to plan the next course of action.

She had a stoke: She had a stroke which is not enough blood flow to a part of the brain and that is what most likely caused her to fall..

: Hard to be precise regarding clinical correlation as some interpretations raise concerns of vascular atherosclerotic risks.  I think the jury remains "out" in terms of any true significance.  Get the radiologist's and your doctors opinions, as there may be clinical correlative issues.
