My mri showed mild scattered foci white matter signaling abnormality bilateral corona radiata and centrum semiovale. does this mean alzheimers?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

White matter stuff. : White matter abnormalities as you have described can be seen in various conditions such as vascular disease, vascular dementia, multiple sclerosis, Lyme disease and migraine headache. And of themselves, these do not diagnose somebody with Alzheimer’s disease. However, they may require further investigation into their specific cause.
