Outpatient follow up: In emergency rooms, emergencies or life threatening conditions are ruled out or ruled in. In your case that is the missing link and that is creating frustration and likely unnecessary radiation.

There is hope: TB meningitis is a problem world wide. Unfortunately it can leave long lasting problems. When blood supply lost to part of brain it doesn't heal. But she is young and with physical and occupational therapy, she could improve dramatically . Don't give up hope!

Also not knowing the extent of the damage and if there is damage to the motor cortex or in the spinal cord it is impossible to answer your question completely.  You need to seek answers from your neurologist and a neuro radiologist who may be able to see more subtleties on an MRI of the brain and spinal cord.

Based on the limited information available here, you need to have a specialist guide you through the options for treatment of your pain up and including the point at which you may need surgery.  Depending on the severity of the structural abnormality, you may benefit from rest, NSAIDS, physical therapy, or chiropractic care.
