A few: Swimming, or use a machine called an upper body or arm ergometer, which will give you a cardio workout using your arms only.  If cycling doesn't hurt your feet try that.

Hot topic: My feeling, if you don't have pain, i feel completely acceptable and healthy. If it is painful for any reason, listen to your body and stop.

Where on your foot?: There are over 126 ligaments in the foot.  Any one of these may be "strained" and could cause pain individually or as a collective.   The most common ligaments to be injured are around the ankle.  Baps board exercises or resistance theraband exercises may do a lot to alleviate these injuries and prevent them from coming back.

i need to lose over 100 pounds . i can't exercise much right now. i have two fractured feet,bad back and hip . can only stand about 2-3 minutes . idea?

Orthopedic inserts: otherwise known as orthotics, sounds like you need more support.  Also talk to you primary about vitamin deficiencies.   Brittle bones could be a systemic serious issue.

Orthotics can provide better distribution of your weight.   They are devices that fit in your shoes.  They are thin and don't take up much space

the arch of my foot hurts when doing skipping ropes. i'm doing this for some simple exercise. is that bad?

Arch pain: Many people suffer from flattening of the arches when they stand up (flexible flat foot).  This changes the position of the tendons and joints in the foot, causing muscular imbalance and sometimes even arthritic changes.  It can also put stress on ligaments, such as the plantar fascia, which runs across the bottom of your feet and supports your arch.  Visit your podiatrist if it does not go away.

i am unable to dorsiflex my foot after a bad lateral sprain 7 weeks ago. even with stretching and exercises, there is medial ankle pain. why is this?

Pain: You may have torn a tendon or fractured your fibula. I would see a physician to get a definitive diagnosis

foot tingling suddenly started a day ago. i don't know if it's a bad sleep position that could be causing the problem. the foot is *not* numb, i can feel it, i have strength, etc. maybe an injury? i did some cardio 2 days ago.

Weakness on one side: Droopy face, etc. all indicate the need to go to your emergency room ASAP.  Something neurological is going on, perhaps a stroke.  You need to be diagnosed and treated now.  Peace and good health.

hurt foot: jumped up, landed on it rolled. swollen and badly bruised, barely any pain. walking fine w out brace. no dr yet. how long before exercise?

6-8 weeks: 6 to 8 weeks to be safe, but you can swim or bicycle in the meantime. Walking as tolerated. No jogging until pain and swelling are gone. Remember RICE, a mnemonic for rest, ice, elevation, and compression with an ACE bandage for sprains. If pain increases or pain near outer side below knee, see your PC doctor for exam.
