i had a total hysterectomy 3 weeks ago for early stage endometrial cancer, the surgeon also found an ovarian cyst. is this likely to be cancerous?

Possible: It's certainly possible that your cyst is malignant but not likely.  The vast majority of ovarian cysts are benign.  If you had the cyst removed, a pathology report would have been generated and will have the information you seek.  Best of luck.

how long will menopause last?? i'm 31 y/o & had a total hysterectomy 4 weeks ago. i had it due to ovarian cysts & the family history risk of cancer

It can last for: years.Up to and beyond 7 yrs in some women.If symptoms are intolerable,ask Gyn for help( hormone replacement therapy).

having a laparoscopic full hysterectomy in 2007 due to ovarian cysts and endometriosis i have noticed an odor after sex. no other changes or issues that i have noticed however. no itching, pain etc. what can cause this?

Vaginal odor: There is a condition called "bacterial vaginosis", which does produce an unpleasant odor.  This can be treated with antibiotics, but if your partner has "other contacts" it can recur. Ask your gyn provider for an exam and treatment.

i have endometriosis and fibroid tumors (occasionally ovarian cysts). ob recommend hysterectomy. read about acessa. wondering: procedure any good?

Perhaps not for you: Acessa is a novel, fairly good and very promising procedure for treating uterine fibroids and preserve the uterus.  Its success depends often on the size, location and number of fibroids in a uterus. It is not a treatment for endometriosis.  Hysterectomy laparoscopic, transabdominal or transvaginal at this point in your life may not be a bad recommendation, particularly if you are very symptomatic

i have metastatic breast cancer. my ca 27-29 has been 45-60 (normal 40) i just tested and it was 138. i also just had a hysterectomy 5 weeks ago and they found ovarian cysts and endometriosis. could this be the reason it's higher?

: Endometriosis can cause elevations and recent surgery can cause elevations but I would strongly suggest seeing gyn onc and Breast cancer doctor immediately

If the ovaries : Were left in place then yes , that can be diagnosed by pelvic exam and ultrasound please see your gyn.

month after hysterectomy found i have a complex septated ovarian cyst. 11/11 was 2.3cm,12/23 3 cm,12/31 3.8 cm.  a lot of pain. should i be concerned?

Obgyn evaluation: Most ovarian cysts are benign and resolve on their own. You will need to see your Obgyn and have them evaluate it. They can determine if treatment is warranted of if this is a typical cyst that will resolve spontaneously

hi.......i have a 3.8 cm hemorrhagic right ovarian cyst. i will be 50 yrs old and not menopausal. had a hysterectomy 10 yrs ago. what should i do?

Watch it...: Hemorrhagic ovarian cysts usually go away on their own without surgical intervention.  If it isn't too painful, its usually ok to repeat the u/s in a few months to make sure it is gone.  If it is very painful, it can be removed surgically.  Best wishes!

Likely scarring;: Need exam, likely ultrasound and colonoscopy; likely need hormone replacement

Partial hysterectomy: If your partial hysterectomy did not include the removal of the ovaries at that time, then ovarian cysts can recur 12 years later.
