Meniscal cause: I would be suspicious of another torn meniscus or breakdown of that repair. Your orthopedic surgeon is best qualified to evaluate, advise and treat you. An MRI may be ordered.

when you tear or tore a muscle does it heal with muscle tissue or scar tissue?

Muscles heal: A muscle tear will heal with new muscle tissue but the new tissue will not be exactly the same. The details are too much to write here but in summary there is a loss of elasticity.  If the tear is small, the muscle function should not be affected at all.  The surrounding original tissue can carry the workload and the new tissue contributes adequately. With large tears, the function may be altered.

can you have scar tissue surgically removed from a hamstring tear?

Yes and no: Surgery will result in another scar. I assume you want to stretch the muscle which has been limited but the scar. A z plasty could be done, but there is no guarantee that you would regain the length you desire.  Contact an orthopedist who is into sports medicine or a plastic surgeon to discuss the options

i have a small mass in the c-section scar tissue. five years after the c-section there is a ripping tearing pain the area. i experience the pain with excecise. what should i do?

? Endometriosis: See your gynecologist for an exam but this far out it may be endometriosis and can be cut out.

Vitamin E Oil: Scar massage with vitamin E oil or cream can help to reduce scars on the skin.  Scarring within the knee itself will respond to range of motion exercises and stretching.

Complex issue: Can not be answered , with out knowing all facts ( including  examination )  best person is your surgeon who will explain your problem  , out come and expected result  on you. If you are not happy with your surgeons answer , take a second opinion

i had surgery for a medial and lateral meniscus tear 4 months ago.  i still have pain when i completely straighten my leg. scar tissue?

Meniscal tear postop: It could very well be scar tissue.  The meniscus (or menisci-plural) may have continued to tear also.  My guess is that you may have underlying arthritis, which often gets exacerbated with a knee injury. The location of your pain is also very important. I would recommend having your surgeon that did the knee scope check you out again if the pain is significant.

15 weeks post hyster, have a yellow, watery discharge- no odor. had sex 2 days ago and had bright red spotting, then pink watery. tear? scar tissue?

Is the sex 1st time-: - in  15 weeks?  If so, there may be a little getting used to that activity again.  You may also have been feeling a little stressed and nervous having had the hysterectomy so penetration may have been slightly traumatic for you. Talk to your OB/GYN but if things were OK prior to surgery they should be fine again.
