Testalgia : Testis pain is not caused by UTI for the most part.  Prostatitis (infection or inflammation in the prostate gland) often can cause vague aching in the testes. Get checked out.  You may need antibiotic, but not for "uti".

No: But u can have a UTI and an ovarian cyst at the same time, if u are worried please have your gyn to a pelvic ultrasound.

Yes.: If untreated a simple UTI can cause extensive inflammation in the bladder / urethra and then ascend into the ureters and the kidneys. This can be very painful and make you very sick with high fever and a significant amount of pain in the pelvis and costovertebral areas.

Yes: The vagina and bladder are attached so irritation in one organ may cause secondary irritation or pain in the other.  This will likely resolve once your UTI is treated.

: Sorry, but it is unlikely a UTI explains hip or thigh pain. Probably separate problems. That said, weirder things have happened:  see what happens as your UTI is treated. But don't let your hopes get too high. Good luck.

can uti cause hip/back pain?  took cefdinir for uti  all pain gone. no bacteria in urinalysis and no growth culture but took one dose macrobid two days prior.  0-2 rbc, 21-50 wbc, leuko erat +.  all else neg. have trapped stone and on warfarin.

UTI plus other?: It was a mistake to take nitrofurantoin (Macrobid) before the culture test. Probably you have a UTI, perhaps with false negative culture because of the antibiotic. But the UTI or stone isn't necessarily the cause of your pain. This situation is much too complex to expect conclusive help on this or any other online forum. Keep working witih your doctor(s). Good luck.
