Perhaps: Not septoplasty. You would have to do extensive turbinate reduction. Also unlikely, but possible. See an ENT doc for advice.

Yes : Septoplasty and turbinate reduction can cause apnea like symptoms in the postoperative period.  The nasal passage is usually swollen following surgery. This can result in mouth breathing.  Remember that apnea means the breathing stops for ten seconds or more.  True apnea is more likely to happen in someone that may be predisposed to it. The blockage following surgery is temporary.

can enlarged turbinates in nose cause a painless lymph node in neck? i think it is an enlarged turbinate in my nose and i have a lump in neck.

See a doctor: if you have boggy turbinates you probably have allergic rhinitis or hay fever, which can be associated with enlarged lymph nodes in the neck. get your doctor to check you out. there are other reasons for enlarged lymph nodes.

i was told by ent to use flonase for 6 weeks for turbinate hypertrophy caused by covid. i have been using it for 4 weeks now and my nose is still stuffed up. it is also very dry inside my nose. is there anything else i can try?

: Nasal saline and humidified air may relieve your nasal symptoms. Watch for signs of fever, green discharge and headache.

i suffer with turbinate swelling and chronic nose,and throat issues, could this be caused as a secondary consequence of  bronchiectasis? or asthma?

No: But a high % of patients with asthma also have allergic rhinitis.  Bronchiectasis is however another issue unrelated to asthma.  Consult an allergist if you have so much problem.

turbinate hypertrophy, bloody nose and spitting a bit of blood.. i'm scared ! help. i've also been moving homes, exposed 2 chemicals and dust cause?

Rhinitis: I assume you had your nose / sinuses evaluated before to get that diagnosis of turbinate hypertrophy. That also means you might have chronic rhinosinusitis. Most of the time in developed countries like in the us, it's due to environmental allergies. When you have chronic inflammation due to allergies, dust from moving can irritate your nasal mucosa and cause it to bleed. Come back to see your doc.

Irritant: The causes of nasal congestion due to enlarged turbinates include:  allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, non-allergic-irritant rhinitis from smoke, perfumes, cleaning chemicals, etc.  Also hormonal changes can lead to rhinitis with nasal congestion in women.

Many causes: From dryness to infection. I would put some antibiotic ointment in your nostrils each day  in the morning and evening, and see if it gets better in a week. If not see your doctor.

Rosacea?: An occasional red nose is normal because the nose contains many small veins and capillaries. However, repeated flushing of the nose may be a sign of rosacea, especially if redness of the face is accompanied by other findings such as sensitive skin (stinging, burning), papules, pustules, broken capillaries or red gritty eyes. Other conditions such as lupus can mimic rosacea.Consult a dermatologist.
