Not your fault: this can just happen. most likely the fertilized egg had genetic defect and so would not have grown well anyway. so this is your body's natural defense against having a baby with a birth defect. unlikely to be related to xanax (alprazolam).

i had one blighted ovum 2 years back and a chemical pregnancy last month. my crp is 7.7mg/l everytime(only2 times) i tried i got pregnant but not staying pregnant.can crp be the cause for unsuccessful pregnancy?

Blighted ovum ?'s: Although a "blighted ovum" (or "miscarriage") is common with initial pregnancies, and may recur as a "chemical pregnancy" (positive pregnancy test with no tissue seen on pelvic ultrasound) less frequently.  Other causes for unsuccessful pregnancies at age 24 are less common, but should be investigated if a third incidence occurs.  A hysterosalpingogram (HSG) may then be indicated.

Probably not: It is unlikely if you have completely expelled the previous pregnancy that was a blighted ovum as Mother Nature will not reset the pituitary gland for another ovulation until the HCG levels drop from an existing pregnancy.

No: No ovulation is not possible if the hCG is elevated.

Probably not: A blighted ovum occurs when an egg is fertilized and placental tissue develops (causing a positive pregnancy test) but no baby forms.  While it is possible that environmental exposures to toxins (such as nicotine, tars, carbon monooxide, etc) could affect the early pregnancy in such a way, there are no definitive studies that would document this relationship.

Possibly, tho: That would be a long while. Hcg would be the only 'pregnancy hormone' you might still detect.

Low: I think your chances of this happening again are low.  Blighted Ovum is an out-of-date term for which is now called an Anembyronic pregnancy.  These typically do not have a fetal pole (a tiny baby).  If you based your current gestational age on a regular period cycle, then you should be able to see this fetal pole and likely the heart beating on ultrasound by this point.  Good luck.

Wait 1 normal period: Sorry to hear of your loss. After a D&C your pregnancy hormone (HCG) will fall down to zero in a few weeks, with some bleeding at that time. Wait 1 more cycle after this before trying again - after your next 'normal period'. There may be a higher chance of another miscarriage in the 1st month, so use condoms. 1 miscarriage is common, if you have 2 or more see a rei specialist to get checked out.

Miscarriage : A blighted ovum or anembryonic pregnancy (empty gestational sac) unless repetitive does not increase chance for miscarriage in the future. If repetitive will need a work up for habitual miscarriage.
