Generally yes: Steel cut oats are the healthiest because they are the least processed and retain most of the nutritional value of oats with thiamine, iron, calcium. Magnesium, phosphorus, and manganese. Also high fiber content, low in cholesterol, and low glycemic index.

Oatmeal diet: You might or might not gain weight, however this would be a very unhealthy diet.  It is not recommended.  Best to eat a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, beans, lean chicken and fish.

That is an excellent: Snack.  Before bed is ok if you are not excessive. Slow cook oatmeal for a filling snack with soluble fiber that can help to reduce your LDL cholesterol.

Yes: It is ok to eat many things before running, but usually simple carbohydrates are best. Also, a small-to-moderate size meal, so as to not upset your stomach. Practice first with a small bowl of oatmeal ~30 mins before running, before you try that out on race morning, if you are considering running a race.

Not right away: generally I recommend that for 2 weeks following a diverticulitis episode, my patients remain on a low residue diet. Which is a diet low in fiber. Oatmeal tends to have a high fiber content and I would only start that after 2 weeks.

Monitor amount: Oatmeal does not cause gout, but there are purines in oatmeal.  Therefore, you may need to limit the intake of oatmeal.  Gout comes from dehydration and is a form of arthritis.  If you are having problems, you need to see a rheumatologist to have this evaluated.

Egg and Fruit: You may have one or two eggs and fruit.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
