i have a red dot rash only on my face, it's painful. they look like pimples with clear fluid. it's spreads everyday. i've tried eczema products. help?

keratosis pilaris: Kp or keratosis pilaris is a common skin finding associated with eczema.  The raised papules commonly occur as plugs in the hair follicles on the upper arms and outer thighs.  They usually do not itch significantly.  Treatment is available (for cosmetic purposes) but not necessary.

Acne ; Eczema: Acne can be treated with prescription topicals like ziana or epiduo and oral antibiotics like  solodyn (minocycline) or monodox. You can add  cerave lotion to the acne medication to control the dryness. See your dermatologist for the prescriptions.

Difficult to say: Infants and toddlers have many forms of rashes given their delicate skin. Eczema is typically described as skin that is red, rough, with small bumps that do not contain fluid or pus and it is very itchy. Other rashes can fit this description and if treatment with over the counter fragrance free emollient lotions does not work one should see a doctor.

Evaluation: Localized reactions, eczema or an infection should be considered. Avoid irritation to the skin in this area. Gently apply a baby eczema cream by patting it onto the skin without getting it into the eyes, three times daily. Apply a local steroid cream after speaking with your pediatrician. A low dose of a 0.5% Hydrocortisone lotion may be indicated twice daily after speaking with your pediatrician.

help! i have bad eczema but all my eczema products like desonide and elidel that my old derm gave me cause me to breakout and get lots of cystic pimples and even some whiteheads. if i try to treat the breakouts with acne stuff it dries out my skin?

: May be you should try salicylic acid containing product like few face wash and toners. Have you used any antibiotics like doxycycline? Also can try natural products like glycerine and rose water for dry skin and orange peel and turmeric for oily. Hope it helps.

am having skin eczema..as i have lots of itching, redness and pimples...am using eucerin but so far no respite...do i need some corticosteroid....thx.

More Aggressive Tx: Avoid long hot showers and harsh and drying cleansers. Apply fragrance-free moisturizer like Vanicream or Eucerin 1-2 times/day. For eczema flares you need to be applying prescription strength corticosteroid ointments to problem areas twice a day until clear. Wet dressings (wet wraps) at night and chlorine baths if more severe.
