Excision: At this point they are likely fibrotic and unlikely to be removed with non-surgical methods although steroids may help. They may also produce over correction with a depression, tissue atrophy, thinning, redness and spider veins.

: It's different than rheumatoid nodules. This is a garden variety chronic tendonitis of the shoulder from wear&amp;tear over time. This may cause episodes of acute shoulder pain,chronic discomfort or no symptoms. If you're unsure of your shoulder status, have your MD examine &amp; advise you.

Nonspecific : Soft tissue densities in the normally air filled mastoid, middle ear and sinus cavities indicates there is some type of chronic, long term  inflammation in those areas. It could indicate chronic infection, as well. It depends on your clinical condition and how severe those findings are to really give you an idea of what this means to you.  The brain finding is not uncommon, discuss with doctor.

Improve: The hematoma will decrease in size as the body heals it and it most likely won't need any further treatment . If very large or painful it can be aspirated or drained.

Several weeks: Hematomas start soft and harden as the blood inside coagulates. It will slowly turn from a deep purple to a yellow starting at the edges as your body's immune system breaks up and absorbs the old blood. It may take 2-3 weeks to resolve depending on the size. If it gets larger or more painful, seek medical attention.
