Improve: The hematoma will decrease in size as the body heals it and it most likely won't need any further treatment . If very large or painful it can be aspirated or drained.

Probably surgery: Calcified hematomas are unlikely to spontaneously resolve. If surgery is recommended, may be helpful to rule out underlying conditions that predispose to bleeding and calcinosis( deposition of calcium) including high calcium in blood or diet. If asymtomatic and not progressive, surgery is not mandatory- especially if you are prone to calcinosis.Calcinosis.
