Varies: There are a lot of possibilities, I would encourage you to be seen for an accurate diagnosis.  Among the more common causes are: spine related, such as a pinched nerve; peri scapular, such as a sub scapular bursitis; or even nonmusculoskeletal. A detailed exam and appropriate studies would likely reveal the problem and based upon that appropriate alternatives discussed.

Doubt connected : It is unlikely that the tingling in your shoulder and your high blood pressure are related. We are concerned when shoulder pain and tingling are connected to chest pain, shortness of breath or any other symptoms that may suggest you're having a heart attack.

No, this isn't GERD: This symptoms constellation is not consistent with reflux disease. It should be checked out just the same. The fact that the pain is worse when you touch the area suggests that it is either musculoskeletal or nerve pain. Is it related to meals? I'm wondering why you are associating this with reflux? The best way to approach this is to visit with your doc and have an exam done with some tests.

: Suggest you visit either an MD or DO and have a proper exam of the area of concern.  You could be experiencing what is termed notalgia paresthetica, a localized neuralgia over one shoulder blade, but this could represent a lingering area due to prior shingles.  A chiropractor would not be expected to manage this.

Nerve pain: likely due to a "pinched" nerve.  Recent trauma? Apply heat, rest the joint (sling), use some non-steroidal anti-inflammatories for pain. If not better in few days, see PCP. Be well.

Neurologic problem: Your symptoms sound like a cervical (neck) nerve root problem.  A cervical radiculopathy often presents as neck pain with radiation into the upper extremity.  It can be associated with pins and needles, numbness, pain, and/or weakness.

You would benefit from a medical consultation given your symptoms especially if they are persistent.  Good luck to a quick recovery!

Possible disc issue: Pain in this area can come from various places including the shoulder (rotator cuff), the neck (cervical disc herniation), and even heart or stomach problems.  You should see a physicians for evaluation for these problems.

Possibilities: You might have notalgia paresthetica, but the full description points toward brachial plexus. If your symptoms increase on elevation of your arm, could be thoracic outlet syndrome.  If better on raising arm, might be nerve pinching in neck.
