Neurologic problem: Your symptoms sound like a cervical (neck) nerve root problem. A cervical radiculopathy often presents as neck pain with radiation into the upper extremity. It can be associated with pins and needles, numbness, pain, and/or weakness. You would benefit from a medical consultation given your symptoms especially if they are persistent.
