He will do commonly as most kids seem to find things to bump into or fall onto!

i just noticed that my 3 year old daughter have like a bump in the left side on the back of her head. she havent hit her head or fall. she says it doesnt hurt when i touch it. i am just concerned because it wasnt there. ?

How big ?: The lack of a fatty layer makes normal lymph nodes more detectable around the back of the head &amp; neck area. These are often pea sized at rest &amp; can enlarge when working to peanut size or larger. You are welcome to start over &amp; provide more detail. This may improve the chance a response would sort this out.

Could be permanent..: If you injured your scull - as bruise .Hematoma ( blood collection in subcutaneous tissue) heals over time - body uses its mechanism for absorbing it .But hematomas close to bone surface ( as shin, scull) May create persistent ” bump” due to deposits of calcium to hematoma as process of healing. Inflammation or hematoma attracts calcium . It become just cosmetic annoyance.

Toddlers : Toddlers and preschoolers often bump into things and fall down, and fortunately most accidents are witnessed by a parent or a caregiver so the mechanism and severity of the illness can be judged right away. Seek medical attention right away if there was any loss of consciousness associated with the childâ€™s head injury â€” even if the child â€œcame toâ€ a few seconds later, or if there was significant speed or height associated with the head injury.  If instead there is no loss consciousness, consider these signs as reasons to seek medical attention.
â€¢	any symptom that is getting worse, such as headaches, nausea or sleepiness
â€¢	changes in behavior, such as irritability or confusion
â€¢	dilated pupils (pupils that are bigger than normal) or pupils of different sizes
â€¢	trouble walking or speaking
â€¢	drainage of bloody or clear fluids from ears or nose
â€¢	vomiting
â€¢	seizures
â€¢	weakness or numbness in the arms or legs

No: The scalp is very vascular and you just have a hematoma.   This too shall pass.

i have an itchy scalp and two small bumps at the bottom of my head on either side. could this be allergy related since it is fall? i have been sweating a lot as well due to increase in exercise. skin on body itches as well.

Sounds more: like an infected scalp and the "lumps" may be enlarged lymph glands which drain the scalp!
A "hands on" exam is indicated and an anti-dandruff
shampoo with a course of oral antibiotics may be indicated!

yesterday hit my head on a wall cabinet by standing up too fast. its sore to the touch now. no bruise no other symptoms. wanna know if bumps like that injure hair follicles or in any way or cause a hair to fall out?

Highly unlikely.: Unless you caused a laceration deep enough to damage hair follicles (which seems unlikely since you say there isn't even a bruise), you won't lose any hair.  Or if you do, it will grow back.  Just be more careful when you stand up!

More details?: The opening at the top of the baby's head is called a fontanelle. It usually gradually closes by the end of the first year to 15 months. If you are palpating a swelling in that area, the baby needs to be checked. An ultrasound may be performed through that opening. If the baby fell, and there is a swelling, the baby will need to be further assessed as well.

Have it evaluated.: Bumps under the skin could be as a result of different reasons of which could include an ingrown hair, acne, infection, abscess, or an allergic reaction to various things like detergents or soaps or to medications.  Have it evaluated by your physician to get the appropriate treatment.
