: It does take time for the swelling and inflammation from the surgery to go down to normal so I think you may need more time for complete healing to occur. Hopefully, you are scheduled to see your surgeon for a post-op visit so the surgeon can examine you and determine if you are experiencing normal healing. If you don’t have a post-op visit scheduled, call the office and make the appointment.

Not same: Facial liposuction is not as specific. Buccal fat removal is for someone with chubby cheeks where a specific area that contains the buccal fat pad is treated. The fat there is reduced resulting in a more slender face.

its been 3 and a half months since my buccal fat removal surgery.. why does my face look bigger than before the procedure ik the doctor took a lot out cus he showed me but im so confused why i barely see results.. very upset?

: Perhaps there was some temporary nerve injury and you have lost muscle tension for a time. I would discuss with your fat remover Dr who will know better what to expect based on the method they used in women like you who live in LA. Keep cool.

Pain and bruising: Removing buccal fat pad is a bad idea. The result is hollowed cheek and it is hard if not impossible to fix.
Chin implant will make your lower lip position a bit higher and your neck more angled.
Neck liposuction will sculpt your neck and get rid of the superficial fat.

i have done ultrasonic cavitation with an at home device. i have used it to dissolve my buccal fat, my neck, as well as my jowl fat, and i did it multiple days in a row, on highest setting. will my skin thighten again, or what can i do? f23?

: There would be some skin tightening in time however if there is significant redundant skin you may need more than time for expected result. They have gadgets and surgical interventions also that could enhance skin tightening.

: It could be from co-vid. Most people recover the taste with time. Unless what was remove from where it is hard to comment if it resulted from your surgery. Discuss this with your oral surgeon and get your taste function checked out by a neurologist. good luck.

Depends.: Those are certainly two options, but you'll need to consult a good plastic surgeon or cosmetic dermatologist who has lots of experience with those procedures. There is no way to know what would work best for you without seeing and examining you in person.
