can writing on your skin with pen cause  lead poisoning?because i've done it for years now and feel fine but if it can cause it of course i'll stop it

You're ok: Ink contains no lead, so you should be ok and don't have to worry about lead poisoning.  Many inks are made out of carbon, with added colors.  Certain ink can be dangerous if swallowed, but, fortunately, that's not something we typically see!  keep writing!

: Lead poisoning caused by something containing lead being in the body is something that is not diagnosed as often as it should be. The piece of metal should be removed as soon as possible and your lead level in your blood should be followed. There is treatment if the lead level is too high. Have this attended to as soon as possible by your doctor.

Lead: Chronic exposure to lead head nails could be a cause for concern. Ask your doctor to do a lead test to find out if you need therapy

See below: Depending on how severe the burn was it may take several days to a week and longer for a severe burn. Although the skin may return to looking normal, it has been damaged and repeated sunburn effect is cumulative and can lead to skin cancer. It's extremely important to use at sunscreen with SPF of 50 or more, even when it is cloudy or hazy outdoors.

i left handsoap (in particular: softsoap antibacterial handsoap) on my hands for around 10-20 min. after some time my skin began to itch quite a bit. am i at risk for poisoning due to the chemical absorption of the soap through the skin?

: I do not think there is any dangerous chemical in hand soap that you would absorb. Perhaps you had a mild contact dermatitis from the soap. Next time, just rinse it off sooner. Good luck to you!

i have had 3 head ct scans in a month . i am worried about the radiation . can i die from having that many ct scans that close together . like radiation. poisoning or something is there side effects to haveing that many in row should i be worried?

: There is actually very little radiation in the CT scans so, if you had them all in the same place, the radiologist would not have allowed the studies to be done if there was concern about the amount of radiation. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Yes go to ER: If you have fever and severe headaches after prolonged sun exposure, you should go to the ER now and be checked.  Heat stroke can be very serious!

Doctor can help: A person in her 60's who feels "awful" and is vomiting, febrile, and has a "pounding" headache sounds like she needs a doctor... unless she suddenly starts feeling better each hour. If traveling in a foreign country, she may look online or ask the hotel front desk to see where to go for doctors who speak her language (such as English), or where the ER or hospital is, plus how to get there.
