Varicocele Surgery: Most likely some bruising from the manipulation from the surgery. However, since I can not see it. Please call your surgeon and inquire if he needs to see you.

: After undergoing varicocelectomy it has been demonstrated that testosterone levels increased significantly in 70% of cases. It is also thought that sperm quality improves.  It's also important to note that many men with varicoceles  have normal testosterone levels without surgery.

i had vericoscele surgery 3 weeks ago, left testicle is little swelled.i dont have sensation where the surgery was performed i,e from inguinal to testis but i have sensation on testis,is it normal ? can i also masturbate with a little swelled testis?

Accepted Answer

: Swelling/numbness  after varicocele surgery is quite common and usually nothing to worry about. It will heal over time. However, it can be uncomfortable.  Ice and antiinflammatories can help. Intercourse/masturbation should be OK after 14 days, but avoid squeezing the scrotum or other things that case increased pressure until it fully healed.

lost sensation in r/testis after a big pain and admitted hospital..ultrasound was normal. after another week my scrotum went cool.after another week orchiopexy done to r/s. they says my testicle was not dead in surgery. is my testicle dead?

: It should not be dead if the testicle was still healthy by the time of orchiopexy.

Of course not: At 30 years old your body is like a high performance engine. As it engages in sexual activity the nervous system shunts blood from areas like the digestive tract (and some would argue even the brain) to the reproductive apparatus and kicks the heart into overdrive. That a lot of blood pumping thru your genitalia at high pressure with every pulse. You're gonna feel it but if no pain then no worries

Unclear: Not sure what the question is, but death is a risk we all face everyday, and a surgical procedure is no different. The odds of death from an inguinal hernia repair is extremely low, but odds do not predict what will happen to an individual.  Hope this helps.

Venous congestion: The most common part of the colon removed for diverticulitis is the sigmoid colon, which is on the left side. The blood vessels behind this part of the colon connect to those that go to the left testicle, therefore it would be possible for those vessels to be either injured or more likely irritated by the surgery , thus resulting in swelling and possibly venous congestion which would extend to test.

Swelling?: Early postoperatively you'll have some swelling that will be perceived as enlargement. Elevation of the Scerota and cold packs will help. Have proper follow-up with your surgeon to evaluate for any other concerns
