To lose weight, control those conditions, control size of portions (reduce caloric intake), increase activity to burn off more calories. Sometimes 4-6 mini-meals work better than 3 larger ones. Lean proteins, good fats, low glycemic carbs, avoid fast foods & sugary drinks & desserts. Aim for 2 lb loss per week.

Maybe: They usually don’t want anything “colored” . They call it “clear” liquids. So lozenges that are clear should be ok. You may want to consider nicotine patch .

thinking of getting velashape. i weigh 200 pounds, just wanted the procedure as a jump start to diet and exercise. does it work? cost is 1800 for all of stomach, sides and back is this reasonable?

It depends.: It depends on your bmi. If your bmi is under 30 you should have a good response. (bmi is your basal metabolic index) remember to drink pleanty of water. You should start your diet before you start the veleshape. You will have a better response.

i'm a special diet for an upcoming colonoscopy. my blood sugar reading was 145 today due to the dietary restrictions that i have to follow for the procedure. i'm worried that i won't be able to get my reading down again after the procedure is done?

Depends : Initial post op period, stay of softer foods and avoid really rough foods like broccoli, salads etc. Some people can have issue w bread and hard meats like pork steak etc. Carbonate beverage can cause bloating and cramping. Eventually, 2-3 months out most people eat pretty normal.
