Omeprazole in a.m.?: omeprazole be best taken 30-60 mins before breakfast to get the optimal benefits. There are many potential causes for burping (including anxiety) but then you may also be swallowing saliva to dilute the acid. With each swallow, you will bring in some air into the stomach . The air must come out one way or another . If omeprazole is already taken in the morning, time to consult your doctor.
