ARS-LINKS-Endo. ARS: An incompetent LES underlies the pathogenesis of GERD. Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) form the core of GERD management. However, a substantial number of patients do not respond well to PPIs. . A published literature suggests that MSA (LINX System) is equally effective with less procedure duration as compared to ARS (Anti-reflux surgery). The most common adverse event with MSA-is dysphagia.
