Yes indeed: Nevi can spontaneously regress due to the immune system. The disappearance may be preceded by a halo around the nevus, or it can just happen.

Several things: This problem can only be solved by seeing your doctor and being evaluated face-to-face.  After a thorough examination, your doctor should be able to tell you what's wrong and what to do about it.

Probably not: What you are describing sounds like a typical mole. The warning signs for melanoma, a dangerous skin cancer, are summed up by abcd: asymmetrical, border=irregular, not round; color nonuniform; and diameter greater than a pencil head. Probable keratosis: Most nevi that transform to the malignant state do so by enlarging , usually becoming darker in pigmentation, and potentially ulcerating.  For a freckle to lighten in color and become swollen can not by definition transform to a red spot.
If the lesion enlarges, darkens and shows signs of peripheral inflammatory changes, bx should then be performed.

Probably not.: It depends on what you call a beauty spot.  If this is a birth mark that has not changed throughout your life, i would say you are unlikely to have a problem from it.  However, if it is a multicolored, irregular lesion, tatoo or not, i would say you should have it checked by your doctor for possible disease, like melanoma.  Having a tatoo has its own risks as well.  See your dr. To be sure.

Skin : A number of skin growths can cause a "brown dot " ( moles, warty bumps, freckles , or even early skin cancer, etc.   )   have a dermatologist evaluate the area to determine the diagnosis and treat if needed.

Mole: To some, these are attractive but they do not cause symptoms like yours. Without other apparent cause the symptoms you describe are often tension-related and disappear with relaxation. The black spot can be a comedone (black head).  Always check black spots for irregular edges and any observable change.  If this happens, do not delay a medical visit.

Changing skin spot: I would recommend seeing a plastic surgeon or dermatologist for a biopsy.  Best to make sure it in not something serious like a skin cancer.  Chances are it is not but its best to be safe when you are noticing changes
