i swam in pool, inhaled lot a lot of water, four days later my upper back hurts when move or breathe. coughing & throat itchy with phlem,nose stuffy.

Hard to say.: Your current symptoms may not be related.  It's hard to say. How do you know you inhaled a lot of water, instead of just swallowing it?  Inhaling a lot of water is the definition of drowning!  So if you just swallowed a lot, probably not related.  You may have a cold. See doc if no better soon.

my upper left side of my back hurts when i move or the most when i lay on my back. it feels like it's bruised but i don't know what this is.

Possible strain: Have you been lifting weights or performing any activities that could be stressing your upper back? Avoid staring that area to see if your symptoms clear up. If not an orthopedic specialist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you.

my upper left back hurts when i move certain directions, just at the very top of latimos dorso m. also, my upper left rib hurts if im getting pushed down from my back as well. i do lift weights, but is this concern for cancer? 2 month pain on/off?

: When someone moves and there is back pain it is likely musculoskeletal pain, from muscle, joints, ligaments, discs, or muscles.  The best way to get an answer to your personal health question is to see a doctor in person. There is a very low chance that a 30 year would have cancer.

27 year old female. i have pain in my lower left back hurts when i move a certain way came outta no where today. its my very lower back before my butt and into my side a little could it be a kidney stone? or more like a pulled muscle?

: It would be too low for a kidney stone and is more likely related to the musculoskeletal system as it gets worse with movement. Treat symptomatically with rest, moist heat or cold packs and Tylenol or Ibuprofen. If the pain is not resolving or gets worse, follow up with your family physician.

what could cause sharp pain in the middle right side of my back? hurts when i move, yawn, but it's not the muscle because i've tried rubbing it.

Probably muscular: Probably muscular, can ask for a referral to physical therapy for a few weeks. 
Also need to consder that is might come from the neck. Yawning causes you to tilt you head back, and the cervical extension might exacerbate facetogenic pain referring to the mid back. 
Recommend seeing a physician for further evaluation.

Muscle strain: Pain w/specific movement is most likely due to muscle strain. Should be manageable w/OTC pain relievers. If not, need to see your Family Doc. Definitely sooner than later if numbness/tingling/weakness or unexplained fever. But by your description, sounds most consistent w/muscle strain. RICE:Rest is fine for strains/sprains. Can you apply Ice to area? Doubt area amenable to Compression &amp; Elevation

so i got up from sitting on the couch for a while and my back hurts when i move. it aches through to my chest but only if i twist or bend. i am fine when walking. pulse oxygen reads 98/99. can i still be having a pulmonary embolism?

: This sounds like a musculoskeletal issue. A pulmonary embolus would not cause discomfort only when you twist and bend. This is more likely to be a pulled muscle that occurred after you were resting on the couch and you then got up. Try stretching the area gently. Acetaminophen or ibuprofen can also be helpful. You can also put heat or cold to the area, whichever feels better.

Difficult to tell: You would need to be seen and examined to answer this question appropriately.  It could be from a cervical spinal problem, soft tissue issue or other.  See a doctor and get better soon.

Need more info: How long has it gone on, any injury or strenuous activity, heavy lifting, fever, cjills, urinary symptoms, cough, shortness of breath ???
