what should i do if one of my babies eyes is yellow?

Be Seen: If one of your infant's eyes is yellow, it is unlikely to be due to a systemic cause like jaundice. Some parents will describe their child's eye as yellow when crusted tears or pus collects in the corner of the eye. The crusting of tears is not generally a problem, but the possibility of infection makes this a condition for which evaluation by a medical professional is recommended.

redness and red dots under babies eyes..7mths. what is this? excema? what should i do? some days better than others, sometimes only one eye or two..

Baby: Could be atopic dermatitis. Try otc Hydrocortisone for a week. If not better, see your doctor.

Unlikely: Reactiviation is rare and unlikley during pregnanacy  you will not pass the infectin on to the fetus.

Tobastar: tobastar is a combination steroid and antibiotic and should be used only if advised by your MD.

Several factors: Some babies have broader noses which makes the eyes look out of alignment (when they are not).  The things to notice are if one eye only seems consistent out of line  -  or:  if when you take photos and see the "red eye" and instead of being in both eyes one is consistently dark (out of line) then there might be a problem.  Ask you pediatrician if you have difficulty making this decision.

how do grandparents affect eye colour in babies? if neither parent has blue eyes and one grandma does, how does baby inherit blue eyes? (if they stay)

Color of infants eye: Change up to 3-4 months of age at that time they change very little. Wait until this ago to see what eye color child will have.

why does my babies head always lean to one side?

Infant torticollis: Torticollis is a condition when babies are born with their head tilted to one side, caused by tight muscles in the neck. Sometimes people will feel a lump on one side of the neck. Your Pediatrician may instruct you in infant massage and stretches, or refer you to physical therapy (PT). The condition usually resolves by 3 months of age with the proper treatment.

my pediatrician said my babies head is big. she's 7 months. her body is small. underweight. she is aware and reflexes are great. she is aware family has big heads. she eats well too. i am just concerned.

It happens: A common reason for a big head is heredity &amp; I often measure parents heads in the office. But in babies we follow many such areas with concern because a big head could mean big problems too. In a kid with under nutrition the head would tend to grow normally while the body remains small.  Sounds like the doc is doing their job.

i had my 16 weeks ultrasound yesterday. today i noticed the ultrasound looked like the baby was blowing a huge bubble attached to its mouth (probably as big as the babies head). the only ultrasound i found that looked like it showed a teratoma?

No: Over-the-counter eye drops are not formulated for babies. If your child has redness of the eyes, drainage, or other eye symptoms, call your doctor. It may be a bacterial infection, a virus, a blocked tear duct or allergy related, but your doctor can determine the appropriate treatment.
