Several factors: Some babies have broader noses which makes the eyes look out of alignment (when they are not). The things to notice are if one eye only seems consistent out of line - or: if when you take photos and see the "red eye" and instead of being in both eyes one is consistently dark (out of line) then there might be a problem. Ask you pediatrician if you have difficulty making this decision.
