Sublingual B12: Is best.  Get the kind that melts under your tongue and with folate (folic acid) if possible.  500 to 1000 mcg is a common dose.  If you swallow the B12 you will get much lest benefit because it has to go through your GI system.  Peace and good health.

: No, and no!  Many people have vitamin B-12 deficiency, and restoration of appropriate levels often requires monthly injections of B-12.
Often oral ingestion is more successful using sublingual approaches, but not always.

: I wouldn't worry about it. B 12 when taken by mouth is only transiently in your system. Any in excess of B 12 not needed/utilized by the body that day will flush out of your system in your waste. You develop problems from a lack of B 12, not supplements that assure you have it.

Vegan?: If you eat fish, chicken or meat regularly, you probably don't need to supplement at all if you are vegan, you do. Ask your doctor to check your B12 levels to know if you are deficient. Otherwise, don't supplement. Wild fish like salmon is the healthiest source of B12  and you can eat similar fish every other day.

0.024 mg: The rda for B12 is 0.0024 mg (2.4 mcg) for adults, 0.0026mg if pregnant and 0.0028 mg if if breastfeeding. 
Because 0.0024 is so low it is commonly written as mcgs instead of mgs. 
1 mg=1000 mcg.

None: There is no harm in taking these vitamins . They will maintain your levels.

Inject 1mg per month: Vitamin B12 is usually given 1 milligram per month as an injection. Early in the course of treatment, the doctor may give the 1 mg (1000 micrograms) daily for some days, weekly for some weeks, and then monthly thereafter. Doctors may adjust the dosing schedule depending on a patients level of, and reason for, B12 deficiency.

If there was: A documented deficiency, i would like to see the level definitely above 400.  The higher dose is probably better for now.

Yes: A person needs less than 5 microgram of B12 a day. if you are deficient and can not absorb B12 in your intestine talk to your doctor about sub-lingual B12 or injection. You would not nee injection any more than once a month.

Not too much: 500 mg of B12 is fine. But beware that B12 can compete with folate (folic acid) for absorption, so take some folate (folic acid) too. Metafolin is good.
D3 1000 iu is not too much. Some people need more. Check bloodwork 25 oh d to know your level.. 50-60 is a good number and below 40 is on the low side.
