What is the recommend dosage for a 60 year old female with b12 deficiency?

Inject 1mg per month: Vitamin B12 is usually given 1 milligram per month as an injection. Early in the course of treatment, the doctor may give the 1 mg (1000 micrograms) daily for some days, weekly for some weeks, and then monthly thereafter. Doctors may adjust the dosing schedule depending on a patients level of, and reason for, B12 deficiency.

Agree with Dr. K: After correction of deficiency with injections, maintenance treatment can be with sublingual B12 tablets
