Unneccessary: B vitamins are all water-soluble, so excess is excreted in the urine.  Therefore, it is generally safe to take extra B-vitamins, but there is no medical reason to do so, unless you have been diagnosed with a deficiency or are at risk of a deficiency due to certain medications or conditions.  In general, try to get your nutrients from healthy foods.

i have anemia from 2 weeks. hemoglobin hgb is 6.9 g/dl. i'm taking some vitamines(c,b1,b6,b12) but i don't want to be a fat lady.what can i do or take?

Go to your doctor: A hemoglobin of 6.9 is pretty low.  Taking vitamins won't really make a difference.  There are many, many causes of anemia and you likely need to have further work up to make the correct diagnosis.  After that the proper treatment can be initiated.

Listen to your body: Generally water soluble vitamins are safe if not given in excess dose. There is no evidence that vitamins help telogen effluveum.  Take steps to improve your over-all health and especially your kidneys. See the book coping with kidney disease by mackensie walser.

Get checked: Glad you asked. B1 deficiency is rare in people on a diet anywhere close to normal, and b6 deficiency is even less familiar to medicine. B12 deficiency, by contrast, is famously subtle. It is likely to be relatively low in your diet if you're a vegetarian, and several common illnesses prevent its being absorbed through the gut. Simply feeling unwell or slowed mentally precedes the numb fingers.

No: B vitamins will not cause hair loss. Masturbation also does not cause baldness. If you are eating a mixed diet you do not need to take the vitamin supplements.

Yes, however...: Every prenatal multivitamin contains all of those and more so this is definitely safe. However, the most important vitamin in a prenatal is Folic Acid (ideally as folinic acid or L-5-MTHF), esp. important in the first few weeks of pregnancy. Also eat greens and beans/lentils for folate (folic acid).

Safe vitamins: All the "b" and c vitamins are water-soluble, so that your body will excrete any that it does not need. "% daily value" is a level the fda determines for preventing deficiencies, not to support optimal functioning. Amounts that exceed this "% daily value" would be what dr. B1: Flushing is a common side effect from vitamin B1- also known as thiamine. The effect tends to decrease with time. However, if B1 is absolutely needed, you may try a lower dose first then gradually work the dose up.
