Unneccessary: B vitamins are all water-soluble, so excess is excreted in the urine. Therefore, it is generally safe to take extra B-vitamins, but there is no medical reason to do so, unless you have been diagnosed with a deficiency or are at risk of a deficiency due to certain medications or conditions. In general, try to get your nutrients from healthy foods.
