i have external hemorrhoids (piles). can i consume arcoxia for pain relief? or what can i do to relieve pain & cure it at home as quickly as possible?

Hemorrhoids: Anti-inflammatory drugs may be helpful but topical pain meds (lidocaine) and steroids creams are typically the most helpful immediately.  Try mineral oil.  1-2 tbsp/day.  Mix with anything.  It will "grease the pipes" allowing stool to move thorugh quickly and decreasing time on the toliet which is essential to improve hemorrhoids. have chronic thrombosis of radial artery.  doc prescribed pasadene and arcoxia for pain.  do these get rid of clot and pain.

Well: I'm not familiar with "pasadene" but arcoxia is a medicine similar to advil or aleve (naproxen). It is a non-steroidal anti inflammatory.

just know im 6 wks preg. been taken arcoxia for scoliosis pain every 3rd day.cant live w/out it. does it makes my preg dangerous? cn i still take em?

Okay for now: This is contraindicated late in pregnancy like many of the similar NSAID drugs, but is okay for now. Please discuss this with your doc who can find you something you can use later.

can tramazac (tramadol and paracetamol) be taken in conjunction with exinef/arcoxia 120mg for pain? my wife has nerve pain and it has not been 24 hours since the last dose of exinef.

Ok, short term: Yes, Tramadol can be used for short term in combination with Excinef. Longer term use together should be discussed with your physician.

i am taking arcoxia 90 for nerve pain as well as amloc 5 and prexum 5 for blood pressure. can i take tramacet with it?

Better Not, : you already have a potential interaction between arcoxia (cox-2 inhibitor) and prexum (perindopril, ACE inhibitor), affecting blood pressure control, adding tramadol/ acetaminophen combination will interact with all the medications you are on affecting their therapeutic effects/increasing possibility serious side effects.Keep good follow-up with your prescriber, exercise caution with multiple meds

Not really: Arcoxia is not available in the U.S. It is very similar to Celebrex (celecoxib). The risk is relatively small with GI irritation the most common side effect.

Every 24 hours only: Dosing of Exinef/Arcoxia is every 24 hours. You cannot take it again sooner than that because you risk liver and kidney damage. The 120 mg dose is to be taken only for 9 days maximum. 90 mg dosing is used for longer periods. Talk to your Dr if this medication alone is not alleviating your joint pain. They may have a different med or additional med that you can safely take for pain relief .

NSAIDs: Arcoxia is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug or an NSAID. It is of a specific class which may be safer in regards to some side effects. The equivalent class of NSAID here in the US is celecoxib which is only available with a prescription. You may want to consult a rheumatologist.
