Hemorrhoids: Anti-inflammatory drugs may be helpful but topical pain meds (lidocaine) and steroids creams are typically the most helpful immediately. Try mineral oil. 1-2 tbsp/day. Mix with anything. It will "grease the pipes" allowing stool to move thorugh quickly and decreasing time on the toliet which is essential to improve hemorrhoids. I am online if you need further information.

Simple remedies: For piles, topical preparations work rather well - Preparation H, witch hazel pads, etc. Avoid alcohol and anything that can damage the liver, avoid fatty, rich foods. Arcoxia is a COX-2 inhibitor (like Celebrex (celecoxib) and the now-removed Vioxx) that is available in Australia - not sure where you are getting it from if you are in US. It can only help temporarily, and is best to avoid it if possible.
