Healthy weight: With pulmonary fibrosis the lungs are stiff  which means it is hard to get them moving. So the key as far as diet goes is to minimize the amound of weight that he has to move with his chest.

: Fibrosis may be detected by HRCT and there are patterns which help to determine the type of fibrosis. The DLCO test, sux minute walk and Pulmonary Function test are useful and there are biomarkers available. Please describe your symptoms and duration of symptoms.

: It means you have scarring in your lung, probably from sarcoidosis.  It needs to be followed by a Pulmonologist and treated if it appears to be progressing.

: Post inflammatory lung syndrome due to pulmonary infection which includes covid-19 infection is still a frustrated complication which poses difficult challenges for both patient and pulmonologist. Yes, our knowledge is still quite limited in the treatment of long covid syndrome and pulmonary fibrosis is one of the primary concern.

: We basically only order CEA levels to follow known colon cancer cases. There are many causes of elevated CEA levels unrelated to malignancy. The upper limit of normal levels is 2.9 but values as high as 35 have been reported in.nonmalignant conditions. For this reason CEA levels are not good as a screening tool.
