It can : Some of my patients can get an upset stomach from post nasal drip either from allergies or from a sinus infection .  See your doctor to see if a prescription allergy nose spray can help

Intestinal infection: It is  not uncommon lung infection to have some constitutional symptoms but the symptoms you listed  indicate that your problem lies in your intestine . You might have most likely viral intestinal  infection .  You mentioned also anxiety which also can be cause of diarrhea if not recognized and treated in appropriate manner. If symptoms persists, i would advise you to see your doc. Stay hydrated.

Insufficient data: Please repeat your post but this time specify what kind of allergies you mean: Drug allergies, food allergies, or environmental allergies. If environmental, try to specify: House dust? Mold? Pollen? Other? Also bear in mind that a lot of what are popularly called "allergies", really aren't true allergies. Have you seen an allergist and been tested?

Need evaluation : Breathing problems, fatigue, upset stomach and dizziness indicate systemic illness that requires immediate evaluation.

is it common practice to prescribe compazine (prochlorperazine) for a 17 yr old for upset stomach from pollen allergies, took for a week and had extreme allergy.

Nausea: Compazine (prochlorperazine) is a well known anti-nausea medicine, but one that has a lot of side effects. I personally have never had a patient with nausea caused by pollen allergies that was so bad that they needed any anti-nausea medication, but i don't know how severe this child's symptoms were. I generally try to treat the allergies first, which i think is pretty standard practice.

i've noticed every time i eat oatmeal for breakfast, i feel bloated/gassy afterward all day or for a good part of the day and sometimes even have an upset stomach. other high-fiber foods don't have that effect. could that indicate an allergy to oats?

Digestion/Gluten:  
Gluten insensitivity  can cause these symptoms. If it's only oats, just avoid them. If it is a problem with other cereals (wheat, rye, barley ) you should follow up with a gastroenterologist.

Not allergy: These are not typical allergy symptoms. If the problem worsens or persists for more than a week, you need to see your doctor. I am concerned that you may have a bleeding ulcer.

Try OTC Ranitadine: It's simply zantac (ranitidine).  If this doesn't help, go see your doc.  You may need prilosec.  You also may need a workup and a GI referral.

Try ginger: Probably the simplest way to reduce nausea ; upset stomach is with ginger. You can drink slightly flattened ginger ale or nibble on crystallized ginger. Or pour boiling water over freshly sliced organic ginger ; steep x 5 min in a covered pot. Sip.

Bland, BRAT: A bland diet (no added spice, acidic foods, sugary, or salty).  Some good foods are in the brat diet - bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast (unbuttered).  Also, plenty of fluids. This will make sure you stay hydrated and get proper nutrients and calories.
