Bleeding should not be linked to "reparative changes" and it sounds like nothing to worry over, but I have never seen that word on a pap smear path report.  I've seen many.

Treat exact cause!: It is imperative that your dr identifies and treats the exact cause: you may have yeast, Trichomonas, Chlamydia etc. Appropriate and specific tests are available for the most common vaginal  infections and you should have them ordered by your GP or by a gynecologist. Once the microrganism is known, it will be easy to treat.
