A diabetic Dr.: This sounds like a form of diabetes.  Depending on your age and clinical history, it could be type i or ii, with type ii devewloping in older people.  A good internal medicine dr. Or an endocrinologist dr. Would be a great start in ascertaining what this could be, through history and clinical tests.

OTC decongestants: If this is not her first migraine, i.e. she has been officially diagnosed w/migraine syndrome, but has no migraine meds, sometimes decongestants (which cause blood vessel constriction) can decrease or resolve migraine pain (which can result from vessel dilation).If this is her 1st episode &amp; it has never been officially diagnosed, it could be something other than migraine.In that case, see dr. ASAP

Use a cool compress: No ice. If you were hit hard, you need to see your eye doctor to make sure everything is okay, and no injury to your iris, trabecular meshwork (drains the aqueous fluid out, and can increase intraocular pressure if it's blocked).  If unsure, go see your eye doctor.

See details: It is a soft tissue contusion. Blood vessel damage is often a component of a contusion but is not the primary issue. If it persists, he should consider x rays to rule out fracture.

Common, but: Subconjunctival hemorrhage (bleeding right under the skin of the eye ball) can occur follow coughing/forceful vomitting, or even sneezing. Often no vision change, no pain. Some may feel "something there" but no pain. Looking at it can be scary because it is "blood-shot" if you have change in vision, pain, sensitivities to light, headaches etc...Then see doc asap. If not, it'll get better. Good luc.
