Blood in your eye: Treatment for blood in your eyes depends on the location of the blood. If there is blood only on the surface of your eyes, then no treatment is needed. However, it could take up to 2 weeks for the blood to go away. Conversely, if there is blood inside your eyes, then treatment is often needed and this should be followed closely by your ophthalmologist.

Often the whites of my eyes get a yellow tinge to them, I know this is a problem of the liver, and alcohol obviously affects it but it also happens if I havent been drinking. If I go for blood tests will it help find out why this is happening?
