Neck: All can be associated with general degenerative changes of the spine. Can be found in many people and are not necessarily specific signs of lets say surgically correctable lesions.  Tarlov cysts are from nerve roots and are thought to develop secondary to inflammatory processes on the nerve root.

Depends: You might have neck pain or maybe not.  Might be a normal finding of a disk bulge that comes and goes. Do you have radiation of pain to either arm or shoulder?  Does your shoulder or neck have pain elicited by movement of your neck?  If i had this i would want to have "kinetic mri", which is an MRI taken while sitting up.  The usual MRI takes image in an unnatural supine position on a hard slab.

Nerve impingement: can be caused by being sandwiched between two spinal bones, pressed by a bulging disc. It can cause muscle spasm and back pain. Prevention treatment is always recommended. Depends: This will depend on the location of the disc herniation. In the lumbar area, where the spinal canal is largest, a 2-3mm bulge is not worrisome. In the cervical spine, however, where the canal is much smaller, a 2-3 mm bulge can cause compression of the spinal cord or nerve root.

Back pain: A bulging disc between the lumbar 4 and 5 vertebral bodies is a sign of early arthritis in the low back. We treat you and not the MRI scan. In general, anti-inflammatory medications and muscle relaxers will reduce or eliminate the pain. Stretching exercise for the low back will improve flexibility. Strengthen core muscles to prevent progression of the bulging disc.

Right limb pain ?: .It  might be due to irritation of  one of your lumbar spinal nerves. L5 nerve root irritation will give you pain that radiates to the top of the foot. L4 nerve root pain will usually stop at the knee and S1 nerve root pain will go down to the lateral   aspect or bottom of the foot. 1-2 mm bulge you can live with. Get therapy so it does not become a bigger problem.

Diffuse bulges are part of the normal aging process past adolescence, NOT caused by trauma.
