See details: That is a minimal bulge and is likely not the source of your symptoms. See a neurologist and have the issue evaluated.

It depends...: on the cause. There are many causes of sciatica. See a doctor who specializes in neuromuscular disorders to determine the cause of your sciatica and to recommend an appropriate treatment plan. Most normal adults have disc bulges, and I agree with Dr. Krauser that your disc bulge at L4-L5 is not likely the source of your symptoms. Other causes include piriformis syndrome & sacroiliac joint issues.
