i have been bleeding for a week already do to a tooth extraction is that normal?i went back to dentist 2 times n he just cleans the clot but the bleeding wont stop .during the day it really doesn't bleed but every morning i wake up bleeding  .

Yes: Even though the loss of clot can cause bleeding, however patient are more succeptible to dry socket when a clot does not form.

Extraction bleeding: It is possible that if something disrupts the blood clot that bleeding can occur. If this is the case you need to see your oral surgoen or dentist asap. It is likely a suture or 2 may need to be placed to cover the extraction site and put pressure on it to control bleeding.

i had my wisdom teeth removed about 3 weeks ago. today, one of the holes started bleeding a bit every time i irrigated it. is this normal?

Evaluation: It's hard to know if this is normal or not in your particular case, sight unseen. I recommend you call your dentist and ask that question and ask to have that area evaluated.

Now: Unless you are on blood thinners your bleeding should stop shortly after the teeth are extracted. You don't want to lose a lot of blood.
Call your dentist and let them know you are still bleeding

Put a Gauze: pad over it and bite down gently for 20 minutes. If it's still bleeding, call your dentist.

Spicule: Possibly this is a small piece of bone working its way out of the area. Think of it as a splinter of bone working its way out.  If you fee something sharp here, then it is probably this. An x-ray of the area will help diagnose this. Most common in the top back area. Check with your dentist.

i had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and today i accidentally drank out of a straw forgetting that i wasn't supposed to. should i be worried? i am not bleeding currently nor do i feel any pain that i didn't already before drinking out of the straw.

Wisdom tooth: The first 24 hours are the most critical in healing so you may be fine.  But please carefully follow your post op instructions from now on.  If you experience severe pain, swelling or bleeding contact the dentist that extracted your teeth.

It..: Reorganizes and eventually fills in with bone and gum tissue as it heals.

Not a problem: You want the blood clots to stay in place at the level of your gums. Loss of them will be a dry socket. No fun. The gums will grow over the clots.
