I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and today i accidentally drank out of a straw forgetting that i wasn't supposed to. should i be worried? i am not bleeding currently nor do i feel any pain that i didn't already before drinking out of the straw.

Wisdom tooth: The first 24 hours are the most critical in healing so you may be fine. But please carefully follow your post op instructions from now on. If you experience severe pain, swelling or bleeding contact the dentist that extracted your teeth.

Not recommended: Keep your body well hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids, but do not drink through a straw for the next 5-7 days to prevent complications (e.g. dry socket).
