Soft spot closed
Soft spot on head is closed is the normal condition in babies after about 18 months of age. By that age, the growing skull bones have filled in the open space between the bones. If a baby's soft spot (fontanelle) closes at too young of an age, the baby can end up with an oddly shaped skull.
