No: The soft spot can be tiny at birth or bigger than a baseball, it has no bearing on craniosynostosis (cs). Ridging of the growth plates due to premature fusion of any of the suture lines causes cs, abnormal head shapes will occur if untreated. After age 9 the skull has finished growing & knitting occurs.

Unlikely: Craniostenostosis results in skull deformity due to premature suture (the long separation in the skull in infants) closure. If you do not have this deformity, then you do not have craniostenostosis. If you do have this deformity, it would be obvious and would have likely resulted in a number of problems.
