Laser skin resurfacing
Laser ablation of the skin is a controlled burn using a variety of types of light energy (e.g. Erbium or carbon dioxide lasers) to stimulate collagen formation, promote new skin formation, and in general restore a more youthful, and less wrinkled appearance to the skin. There is inevitably some downtime associated with the laser treatment, you must keep the skin moist during the healing phase.
