30-60 minutes: This depends largely on the areas being treated. In my experience, it takes about 40 minutes to do a full face resurfacing consisting of a one full face pass with active fx, with deep fx (a second pass with a different hand piece) being done on selected areas such as around the mouth, cheek, lower lids and crows feet. An additional 15 minutes or so is needed if treatment the neck or chest.

Depends on treatment: Preparation for laser skin resurfacing (lsr) takes longer than actual treatment. Often topical anesthetic is placed on the skin for an hour or more pre-treatment. Some form of sedation (oral, intramuscular, intravenous) or general anesthesia may be recommended. Facial nerve blocks (local anes) are often used. After these preparations full face lsr may take 30-60 minutes & depends on treatment plan.
