Depends: This depends on the laser that is used and how many passes are done with the laser. If you are having fractionated laser resurfacing you can have anywhere from 24 hrs downtime in a mild non-ablative treatment to 1-2 weeks for a moderate ablative treatment.

Depends on injury: If you are being treated by a plastic surgeon - the answer is 24 hrs - 7 days or so. The healing time is dependent on depth of injury created. Best to address these queries to your plastic surgeon as all treatment is patient specific.
