A little : We use a topical cream called Emla (lidocaine and prilocaine) first that helps numb the area we then cleanse the area and it seems to work.

Not w nerve blocks: I always block all the sensory nerves to the face when i perform resurfacing. Topical agents will not help much.

Maybe: We use ice, topical numbing creams, and the the zimmere which blows refrigeratd air while we use the laser. No one has ever had us stop due to the pain. Review this with the doctor during your consultation.
