Experienced doctor: Currently cosmetic procedures are performed by doctors with many different backgrounds. Laser skin resurfacing is nowadays commonly performed with fractional lasers by dermatologists, plastic surgeons, cosmetic surgeons, general surgeons, gynecologists, and anti aging specialists. The important things to assess are the safety & efficacy of the laser, the experience & expertise of the doctor.

These modalities are used for improving texture, wrinkles, brown spots and scars. Good question: Ir is always a good idea to thoroughly investigate your physician's credentials. At the very least, i would make sure that it is a physician who is delivering the treatment or a qualified individual under their immediate supervision. Their hospital affiliations, practice history, board certification, disciplinary actions, & peer references as well as patient testimonials are all items to consider.
