Electromyography

Emg (electromyography) is a test of your muscles and nerves. It is typically performed along with nerve conduction studies (ncs). The EMG portion involves placing a recording pin (like a fine wire antenna) into various muscles, looking for 'muscle distress signals' that could suggest nerve or muscle diseases/problems. Nerve conduction studies involve stimulating nerves & recording their signals.
